Donations

The Habitat ReStore is open to the public providing new and used building materials, furniture, artwork, and household items.  Your tax-deductible donations are always welcome. They are made available to the public for purchase and 100% of the profit goes back into Habitat for Humanity Orlando. This enables us to continue providing a simple, decent, affordable home to the people of Orange County. We strive to be an upscale store with good quality items.  Our shoppers are delighted to be able to furnish their homes or remodel them with great bargains at very reasonable prices.

We Accept: We Do Not Accept:

New & Used Building Material Clothing
New & Used Furniture Computers
Household Items Office Furniture
New & Used Appliances Exercise Equipment
New Carpet Pianos or Organs

Immediate Need for a Box Truck

In order to efficiently pick-up donations, we are in need of a 14-16 ft. box truck to travel to and from our ReStore.

A lift gate is helpful, but not required. We do not ask that the truck is painted as we will add our logo and make the necessary changes.

Questions? Call 407-426-7192.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle…

In our continuing effort to do our part for the environment, The Habitat ReStore has instituted a Recycle Program. Just like our store, 100% of the profits from this program go back into Habitat for Humanity Orlando. This enables us to continue providing a simple, decent, affordable home to the people of Orlando.

We are looking for your aluminum, brass, tin, copper, steel, old appliances, air conditioning units, or anything metal. If you have large amounts, we would be glad to pick them up for you. For small amounts, we ask that you bring them by the store which would also give you a chance to come in and shop. Please call us at 407-426-7192 so you can help us, help others.

Please note:

We are looking for nice clean furniture free from rips, tears, stains, animal hair, and excessive wear. We are unable to take any items that are broken, as we do not have anyone who is able to repair them.

Appliances must be less than eight years old.  Dishwashers must be less than three years old.

From time to time we have a lack of space on the showroom floor, which temporarily limits our acceptance of certain items. If we decline your donation, please try to understand that it is an issue of space. This doesn't mean we won't be taking donations in the future, but we never know when.

If you live in Orange County, excluding Apopka, and would like to make a donation to the Habitat ReStore, please call us at 407-426-7192 to arrange a pickup of your donation. We will also be glad to answer any questions you may have concerning your donation.
